Sporting Assets worked with City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (BMDC) to create a business plan and assess the management options for the first of three community sports hubs across the district.

Wyke Community Sports Village is a flagship project for BMDC to deliver their Playing Pitch Strategy and Sport Improvement Programme. The £5.4m project provides a multi-functional sport and physical activity hub.

Our support included:

  • Detailed needs analysis and community engagement programme
  • Business planning and financial modelling
  • Assessment of the management options

The sports hub opened in September 2022 will enhance cycling and football provision in Bradford helping to meet the local community needs whilst supporting regional and national events.
