Lambeth Tigers are a grassroots junior football club with a proud record of developing outstanding players from less privileged backgrounds, many impacted by the effects of crime and deprivation. The club were in search of a home ground, driven by the ongoing challenge of teams playing matches across South London, and to maximise their impact working with young people in South London.

Our work helped them understand opportunities for usage and income, along with operational needs. It provided the confidence it could be a viable community sports hub, informing their decision to bid for the lease as part of a new multi-sport charity, London Youth Sports Trust.
Sporting Assets played an instrumental role in helping prepare the plans and bidding process to take over the ground, as well as helping design a business plan and find major funding to carry out essential renovations. They’ve helped make something amazing happen!
Lambeth Tigers FC
Lambeth Tigers and the London Youth Sports Trust successfully secured a 30-year lease agreement in March 2022 and have secured support from 4 major funders to rejuvenate The Griffin Sports Ground as a valuable community asset. As well as opening up the facilities to local state schools, it will be the first club standard cricket ground in the UK that will give priority to female participation.Lambeth Tigers FCLondon Youth Sports
Sporting Assets worked with England Athletics to develop and pilot a new approach for developing athletic clubs in England.Read more
