Our investment fund, Sporting Capital, is an access point for the Reach Fund.

The Reach Fund is a two year grant programme that helps charities and social enterprises raise investment. The programme is funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment and is open to organisations in England.

Social investors are often approached by charities and social enterprises who require extra support to raise investment.

Through this programme, social investors can refer these organisations to the Reach Fund to apply for grants to pay for the support they need. Between £3m and £4m of funding will be available and you can apply for grants of up to £15,000.

We are a provider on a framework which supports Sport England’s work on the Sport England Community Asset Fund and building capability and capacity in the Charitable, Voluntary & Social Enterprise (CVSE) Sector.

The framework aims to build capability and capacity in the CVSE sector in support of community groups seeking to take on a physical asset from which to deliver opportunities to be more physically active. This could be an existing sports club who wish to take on a facility to offer more opportunities to play sport, through to supporting a community group to take on a non-sports building as a community asset transfer.
